Bradley A. Ohrn

Bradley A. Ohrn, 76, of Sinclairville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa.

He was born June 3, 1944, in Westfield, and was the son of the late Lawrence and Opal Mathews Ohrn.

He was an alumnus of Westfield Academy and Central School. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps with the rank of sergeant. Included in his five year active tour of duty were two years in Vietnam.

He was an employee at the Ajax Flexible Coupling Co. for a few years and retired in 2004 from BR Dewitt (later Hanson Aggregates) in Jamestown, where he worked for 33 years as a cement mixer driver and later as dispatcher. He was a lifetime member of Teamsters Local 264 in Buffalo.

His sarcastic sense of humor always kept us laughing. He was a very dedicated family man and enjoyed outings with his family (many times not by his choice). He loved his Bradley GT kit car and attended many car shows and his love and talent of fixing cars was passed down to his son, Shaun. Over the last few years, he loved his frequent “save the world” coffee chats at the Country Fair in Gerry with his friends.

Husband of 52 years to Bonnie Gleason Ohrn, whom he married March 16, 1968; father of Jennifer Wroblewski (Vinny) of Chicago and Shaun Ohrn of Bemus Point; grandfather of Jack Wroblewski and Maddison Ohrn; brother of Jonelle Ohrn of Westfield; and nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was proceeded in death by a sister, Sherry Evans.

Per Brad’s wishes, no visitation will be observed. A private memorial service will be held at Open Meadows Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the Sinclairville Volunteer Fire Department, 30 Main St., Sinclairville, NY 14782.
