Bonnie C. (Riddle) Suppo

An area resident most of her life, she was born July 16, 1935, to Peter and Magnolia Bashoff in Crestline, Ohio. She was a stay at home mom while her children were young and previously worked at Truck-Lite.

Always smiling, she will be remembered for her flare for fashion, loud prints (especially leopard) and large jewelry. She particularly enjoyed thrift store shopping and turning nothing into something. Always compassionate, she would offer a place at her table to anyone as she would always say, “you may leave my house angry, but you won’t leave hungry.”

Surviving are her husband Peter Suppo, whom she married May 24, 2003; children: Sherill Johnson of Palm Bay, Fla., Julie Riddle Hackett and Thomas (Trina) Riddle, both of Sumter, S.C.; nine grandchildren: Ethan (Amanda) Johnson, Timothy (Emilee) Riddle, Aaron (Danielle) Johnson, Leigh (Anthony) Conn, Sean (Reagan) Hackett, Madison Warren, Casey (Matthew) Giltinan, Sarah Riddle, Peter (Ariel) Hackett; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Riddle, Dec. 3, 1977; and a daughter, Ann Marie Hunter, Dec. 28, 2015.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
