Barry Wayne Singer

He was born Dec. 7, 1946, to the late Clarence Singer and Mildred Litten Singer in Newton, N.C.

Barry served in the U. S. Army from 1966-68. He was employed by the Chautauqua County Sheriff Department from 1977-79. He was also employed at BOCES Educational Center in Ashville, N.Y., for 16 years until he retired.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his grandson.

Barry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Singer; a daughter, Molly Reopel (Clifford) of Winston Salem, N.C.; a son, Adam Singer of High Point, N.C.; and a grandson, Owen.

Services will be held at a later date. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Singer family.
