Wayne R. Emke, 67, of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away Sunday, Sept. 13, at McGraw Hospice, after a hard fought battle with cancer.
He was born Oct. 10 1952, in Dunkirk, N.Y., the son of Marie Emke of Brocton, N.Y., and the late Ramon Emke.
He was a 1970 graduate of Fredonia High School. He had work at American Roll Up Door Co for 40 years as a successful representative. He was a Jacksonville Jaguars original season ticket holder and Buffalo Bills fan. He en-joyed playing word games with others on the computer. His offbeat sense of humor will be missed.
He is survived by his son, Ryan (Loren) of Jacksonville Beach, Fla. sisters: Diane (Ange) Leone of Dunkirk, N.Y., and Audra (Charlie) Giambra of Brocton, N.Y.; brother, Bill (Betsy) Slevin of St. Augustine, Fla.; also survived by aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.
