Jorge Ruiz Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carmen Lydia; two sons: Jorge (Denise) Ruiz and Sam (Jacqueline) Ruiz; three daughters: Carmen (John) Bumpus and Awilda and Nelida Ruiz; five grandchildren: Kelly (Dana) Davis, Melissa (Andrew) Buchanan, Antonio (Ashley McCollum) Przepiora, Samantha Ruiz and Michael Ruiz; two great-grandchildren: Andy and Esan Buchanan; two brothers: Eustaquio and Librado Ruiz; and many loved nieces and nephews.

He was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, and raised his family in Jamestown, N.Y. He loved nature and spent his life outdoors, even after retiring from the Jamestown City Parks Department. He spent his final years in Canandaigua, N.Y., with his family.

All services will be held at the convenience of the family.
