Peter D. Lumia

A J’mestown resident all his life, he was born in Jamestown on July 14, 1947, to the late Anthony Lumia and the late Grace Tramondo.

He was a certified hear-ing aid specialist and owned and operated Valy Hearing Aids at 641 Foote Ave., Jamestown for 35 years. He loved and en-joyed hus customers and helping them to be able to hear better. He was a strong witness for Jesus in his work as well as in his personal life.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Surviving are his wife, Diane Lumia of Jamestown, N.Y.; a brother, Sam Lumia of Jamestown; his sons: Christopher, M. Scott Lumia and David Lumia. Also surviving are step-children: Terry Moore, Stephanie Moore. Christopher Moore and Justin Moore. Also surviving are many grandchildren and one great-grandchild

Because of covid-19 and with most of his children being from out of state, no memorial service is scheduled at this time.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W. Fair-mount, Jamestown, N.Y.
