Beatrice (Niles) Lee

She was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Jamestown, N.Y. , a daughter to the late Leon and Marie (Cross) Niles and graduated from Cassadaga Valley High School in 1953.

Bea worked at Miller’s Market in Portland, N.Y., for 10 years. She was past president of the local Camper’s Club, and she and her husband, Cliff, visited almost every state in their motor home. When she wasn’t traveling, she loved to paint and garden and especially spending time with her family.

Surviving are her daughter, Joanne (Steve) Pantano of Fredonia, N.Y.; daughter-in-law, Ellen(the late Brian) Lee, of Winston Salem, N.C.; grandchildren: Erin Hamerski (Marc) of Buffalo, NY; Joe Pantano of Canandaigua, NY; Matthew Pantano and Jocelyn Shepler of Buffalo, N.Y.; and her great-gran-dchild, Wyatt Pantano.

In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Cliff; her son, Brian; her brother, Ken Niles; and sisters: Margory Carlson and Teno Hodges.

A memorial service for Clifford and Beatrice Lee will be held in the fall in Fredonia, N.Y., at the home of Steve and Joanne Pantano which will be an-nounced.

Memorials in honor of Bea may be made to the Portland Congregational Church, 8649 Church St., Portland, NY 14769, where she and Cliff were faithful members, or to the Brocton Fire Department, 80 Lake Ave., Brocton, NY 14716.
