Martin L. White “Marty”

Marty was born in Jamestown, N.Y., on July 5, 1949. He was a son of the late David H. and Bernice (Fuller) White.

He grew up around the Ashville area. Marty was a 1969 graduate of Panama Center School. He enlisted and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1970-1972.

Marty married his loving wife, the former RubyAnn Bullock on Aug. 11, 1978.

He held a variety of sales and service jobs until his retirement.

Marty attended Grace Chapel in Jamestown, N.Y. He was happiest when riding his motorcycle with his wife. He enjoyed Saturday night Uno games with best friends, Bruce and Jan Bush. Marty also enjoyed working in his garden and keeping up with the lawn. He liked working on lawn equipment as he was a good small engine mechanic. He enjoyed fixing them.

Besides his wife RubyAnn, Marty is survived by a sister, Janet (Frank) Armstrong of Lisbon, Ohio; a brother, James White of Sinclairville, N.Y.; his mother-in-law, Leah Bullock of Jamestown, N,Y,; sister-in-laws: Amanda (William) Damon of San Antonio, Texas, and Leah (Curt) Carlson of Hamilton, Va.; and brother-in-law, John (Dawn) Bullock of Warren, Pa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at the North Harmony United Methodist Church, under the pavilion, 6814 Sherman-Stedman Road, Sherman, N.Y., on Saturday, July 11, 2020, from 1-4 p.m.

A private interment will be held at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Ashville, N.Y
