Irene L. Snow

Irene was born April 21, 1952, in Salamanca, N.Y., the daughter of the late Bemis and Rita VanEvery Snow.

She worked at Crescent Tool Company, Jamestown, N.Y., and SKF, Falconer, N.Y. She was a member of the Cold Springs Long-house, Steamburg, N.Y., and a Deer Clan member.

Irene was an avid pool player and was ranked high in Chautauqua County in her younger years. She en-joyed bowling, softball, going to concerts and dining out. She was a food critic. Irene traveled all over the U.S. and Canada. She en-joyed cultural activities. Irene was family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Irene is survived by her brother, Manuel Snow; two sisters: Alberta Jacobs and Belva Calkins; her niece, Kimberly Snow Pierce; two aunts: Clausie Szarowicz and Mabel Snow; four step-children: Laura Butts, Susan Butts, Billy Butts and Vance Butts, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her significant other, William Butts; three brothers: Edward, Elmer and Timothy Snow; and two sisters: Mary Jane and Rovena “Rosie” Snow.

Friends and family may call on Thursday and Fri-day any time at Cold Spring Longhouse, Steamburg, N.Y. Service will be held at Cold Spring Longhouse, Steamburg on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be on Saturday at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, N.Y.
