Paul A. Miller

Paul A. Miller, 67, of 214 Camp St., Jamestown, passed away at 5 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2020, in his home.

An area resident for most of his life, he was born Jan 10, 1953, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., a son of Lucille Bishop Miller and the late Frederick Miller.

Before his retirement in 2019, he was a machinist for SKF Bearings for many years.

He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, who loved to travel, spend time with his family and was an avid golfer, belonging to South Hills Country Club for many years. He also loved his constant companion, his dog, Lucy.

Surviving are his mother, Lucille Miller of Jamestown; his beloved wife of 47 years, Toni Bressette Miller, whom he married Jan. 20, 1973: four children: Correy (Michelle) Miller of Lakewood, N.Y., Jennifer (Michael) Feldman of Jamestown, Stefanie (Erick) Gifford of Lakewood, and Megan (Matthew) Robbins of Jamestown; 12 grandchildren: Derek Miller, Christopher Miller, Kaitlyn Miller, Sean (Kaitlyn) Conley, Brittany (Steve) Feldman, Rebecca Feldman, Kyliegh Gifford, Gracie Gifford, Chelsea Gifford, Sophia Robbins, Henry Robbins and Vincent Robbins, two great grandchildren: Bella and Landon Conley; two brothers: David Miller of Jamestown, and Kenneth Miller of Tennessee; and a sister, Marjorie “Margie” Pietraface of Oneonta, N.Y., who was the recipient of a kidney transplant from Paul 35 years ago.

Besides his father, Frederick Miller, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest F. “Ernie” Miller; a nephew, Jonathon F.J. Miller; and his great- aunt, Bernice Sydman.

Due to the restrictions on public gatherings caused by the coronavirus outbreak, a private family service will be held in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Haglund will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery.
