Ralph L. Johnson

A lifelong area resident, he was born April 17, 1939, in Randolph, the son of the late Paul L. and Viola Anderson Johnson.

Ralph attended Randolph High School and prior to retirement was employed by Jamestown Laminating.

He enjoyed antique cars, going to car shows, RV shows, traveling and recreational activities.

Surviving are his son, Laverne D. Johnson of Jamestown; a daughter, Lee Ann Johnson of Warren, Pa.; seven grandchildren: Helena King, Miranda Evans, Amber Warner, Laura Ryder, Richard Johnson, Brandon Weaver, Courtney Nicholas; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Johnson of Cedarville, Ohio; two sisters: Pauline Komula of Duncan, S.C., and Patricia Berg of Falconer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Meacham Johnson, whom he married July 1, 1961, and who died May 1, 2009; a great–grandchild, Adrian Warner; and a sister, Dawn Snow.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Jennifer Delahoy will officiate. Burial will be in Kennedy Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will not be observed.
