Joyce L Chartion

She was born in Corry, Pa., June 11, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Olive Sorenson- Smith. As a teenager, she decided to leave home in Corry, Pa. , and attend beauty school in Erie Pa. In 1985, she started her own weight loss business called “Personal Touch” another major accomplishmen, when she graduated from mortuary school, obtaining her degree as a embalmer and funeral director. She will be remembered for her good advice, great sense of humor and loving her three grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Olivia Chartion; three grandchildren: Breanna Hall, Charlize Hall, and Elijah Edwards. Her siblings: Carol Snow and Roger Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Warren C . Chartion; and sisters: Linda Snow and Phyllis Yanik.

Arrangements entrusted to Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

No funeral services will be held. Celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
