Dennis Michael Hadley
CLYDE, Ohio –Dennis Michael Hadley, of Clyde, Ohio, passed away suddenly May 12, 2020, in his home after a short illness. He is now in the care of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Denny was born to Niles W. Hadley “Jigger” and Mabel E (Oakes) Hadley April 19, 1963, at the former WCA Hospital in Jamestown, N.Y.
Denny was a 1981 graduate of Randolph Central High School. After graduation Denny was employed on the family farm and also worked with his father and grandfather in Hadley & Son Construction for many years. He was also an active member of the East Randolph Fire Department until he relocated to Ohio.
His early years in Ohio, were spent working as a heavy equipment operator. A vocation of operating those big machines was a passion of his which he truly loved and gave him the most calming satisfaction.
For the last 10 years or more he has been employed at Whirlpool Corporation in Northern Ohio. He started on the line building washing machines, but for the last couple of years his seniority allowed him to become their forklift operator. Again, what he was made for, operating an earth mover big or small, or any piece of farm equipment. As a resident of Ohio, Denny became a huge Buckeye Fan, he bled Scarlet and Gray.

Denny enjoyed his time coming home to New York, when he could to see his family even if only for a few short days at a time. What he loved most was playing in the dirt on the family farm with dad’s dozer, excavator, or just any of the farm tractors to help out. Denny was very skillful at repairing any piece of equipment and putting it back together making it better than it was before it broke.
Denny enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go camping with family and friends. Another passion Denny had, was he loved to cook. No formal training (except from watching his mother as a child), but he missed his calling when it came to making Chicken Alfredo. (The best we ever tasted)
Denny had a heart of gold as large as Texas, and he would give the shirt off his back to a total stranger and never think twice about it. Nor did he expect any form of payment but a good ole fashion “Thank You”.
Denny is survived by his parents; a son, Devin (Jody) Warren, Pa.; two daughters: Denise, Buffalo N.Y, and Daryl Soloman (Benjamin) of Randolph, N.Y.; five grandchildren: Tamyus, Lily, Raphael, Gabriel and Michael; two sisters: Vicky Snyder of Merriam, Kans., and Dawn Hadley of Horton, Kans.; and two brothers: Raymond (Vicki) Hadley of Conewango Valley, N.Y., and Cory (Lisa) Hadley of Randolph N.Y. He also had five nieces and seven nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and a nephew.
“How lucky we are is to have someone that makes saying Good-Bye so hard” (“Winnie the Pooh”)
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the East Randolph Fire Department or the American Heart Association. There will be no services held at this time. A graveside services will be held at a later date and will be announced by the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, Randolph.
