Helen Marie Ingerson

It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Marie Ingerson announces her passing on April 8, 2020, at the age of 96 years.

Helen was a resident of the Bemus Point, N.Y., area for more than 65 years and was an active lifelong member of the Bemus Point United Methodist Church. Early on, she worked for Murphy’s in Jamestown, however after raising her children, she was employed by the Jamestown School System in food services for 21 years. She will forever be remembered by her surviving children: Jayne Nickerson of Gerry, Donna (D.D.) Ingerson of Falconer, Paul Ingerson of Deltona, Fla., and Richard “Dick” (Sheila) Ingerson of Jamestown; as well as her 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, decorated World War II veteran, Marion S. Ingerson; a son, Vietnam veteran, Charles “Charlie” Ingerson; a baby daughter, Sharon Ingerson; as well as her parents and siblings.

Arrangements entrusted to Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
