Misty D. Johnson

She was born on Jan. 13, 1963, in Rome, Ga., the daughter of Robert and Carolyn Floyd Harris.

Misty had been employed at YWCA as a coordinator for the Women2Women program. She was also a member of the Church on the Rock, Chautauqua Leadership Network, volunteered for the United Way, and was a mentor for Chautauqua Striders. Misty was also a member of the Jamestown Rotary Club, where she had been selected as Rotarian of the Year. She also enjoyed quilting, was involved with Cozy Quilt Ministries, and participated in many historical reenactments with her friends and family.

Misty is survived by her husband, Terry “Travis” Johnson, whom she married Oct. 15, 1988; and a son, Caleb Johnson of Washington, D.C.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Due to COVID-19 mandates, visitation and a memorial will be postponed until a later date to be announced.
