Teresa Carol Smouse-Schroder

She was born April 29, 1951, in Chloe, Pa., the daughter of the late James R. Smouse and Mary Martha Pearce.

She graduated high school in Pennsylvania and earned a bachelors degree in psychology from SUNY Fredonia. Throughout her years, she had worked as a certified nursing assistant throughout the county.

She enjoyed bingo, dancing, music, playing cards, readings, slots and spending time with family.

She is survived by two sisters: Carrie Johnson of Bradford, Pa., and James Smouse of Buffalo, N.Y.; three children: Alicia Robbins, Mark Robbins and Heather Bentley, all of Gerry, N.Y.; four grandchildren: Mike Robbins, Josh VanHouton, Blaine Percey and Teagan Tenamore, all of Gerry; a great-grandchild, Aiden Robbins of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sister: Linda Secco and Debra Smouse; and a brother, Eric Smouse.

No funeral services will be observed, Teresa donated her body to science. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
