Lorraine Peterson
Lorraine Peterson a resident of Lutheran Home in Jamestown passed from this life surrounded by family on Feb. 8, 2020, at age 85. A native of the Jamestown area, she also lived at various times in South Carolina and Florida.
Lorraine was the eldest of four daughters born to the late Harold and Louise Sparling. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Roger Peterson, a sister Donna Sutton, and a granddaughter Laura Casteel. Surviving are her four children Joan Casteel (Jordan), Susan Peterson, James Peterson (Beth), and Cindy Evans (Scott Ferguson); grandchildren Seth Casteel, Matthew Thomas (Sheryl), Jennifer Newman (Jeff), and Amanda Covey (Kyle Mattera) along with three great-grandchildren, one great-greatgrandchild, and one great-greatgrandchild to be. Also surviving are sisters Judy Vicario and Autumn Budde.
