Suzann L. Bongiovanni

FORESTVILLE: Suzann L. Bongiovanni, 54, of Creek Road, Forestville, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, in the Town of Hanover.

She was born in Dunkirk, on Sept. 20, 1965, the daughter of Mary (Glowniak) Duliba of Forestville and the late William Duliba, Jr.

Mrs. Bongiovanni was a graduate of Forestville Central School, class of 1984. She currently worked as a nurse’s aide for Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk, for 10 years. Mrs. Bongiovanni also previously worked for People, Inc., in Silver Creek for 16 years.

Everybody called her “Suzy.” Anybody who came in contact with her, felt the genuine care and compassion she had for all people. She made you feel comfortable and loved. Suzy had the biggest heart and always wanted to help anyway she could. Her love for people was the reason why she was in the health care field for many years. That was Suzy, always taking care of those who needed the help and attention. Her compassion and sincerity was only a few of her many amazing attributes. There were so many more, too many to mention. Always having a kind word for anybody she had met.

There are many people she had touched with her words and actions. Absolutely, one of the very best individuals who walked with us here on earth. Knowing Suzy, she is already taking care of those in heaven. That is the reason why she is there now. God called his best angel home. From heaven, she will still take care of those who need her. That is just Suzy, beautiful inside and out as always.

Besides her mother survivors include her husband, Frank Bongiovanni, of Forestville, whom she married Sept. 12, 1987, in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Dunkirk: two sisters: Debi (Duane) Tingue of Forestville and Christine (Richard) Sobilo, of Forestville; and a brother, Ronald (Tina) Duliba, of Forestville. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by her dog, Abigail.

Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main St., Forestville, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., from where a Catholic Burial Service will be conducted Thursday morning at 10 a.m. with the Rev.
