Beatrice “Bea” R. Jones

She was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Youngville, Pa., the daughter of the late Lawerance and Verna Wooden Raynor.

Bea had been a homemaker and greatly enjoyed being a wife and mother. She was a past member of the Dunkirk Baptist Church and the Rebecca’s of Mayville and was more recently attended Hillcrest Baptist Church in Jamestown, N.Y.

She is survived by her husband, Miles A. Jones, whom she married Dec. 16, 1950, in Fredonia, N.Y.; two sons: Lawerance (Deborah) Jones of Hamburg, N.Y., and Kenneth (Valerie) Jones of Alabaster, Ala.; four grandchildren; Jennifer, Tara, Amanda and Jason Jones; six great-grandchildren; and three sister:; Betty Parment of Bemus Point, N.Y., Virginia Milton of Lancaster, Pa., and Joyce Raynor of Brocton, N.Y.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents.

At her request there will be no services observed. A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
