Alleyn A. Ingrao

Alleyn A. Ingrao, 69, of Jamestown, passed away Friday (Dec. 27, 2019) in UPMC Chautauqua.

A lifelong area resident he was born March 15, 1950, in Jamestown, the son of Angelo C. and Rebecca J. Beckstrom Ingrao.

Alleyn was a 1968 graduate of Jamestown High School and Jamestown Community College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War from 1969-73 aboard the USS Independence.

Alleyn had been employed by Crawford Furniture for 30 years and prior to retirement was employed by Hopes Windows.

He was a life member of the Falconer Moose Lodge and Falconer Rod & Gun Club. Alleyn was a founding member of the Charles B. Arthur Vietnam Veterans Association and member of the Henry Mosher Post 638 American Legion and War Vets Recreation.

Alleyn was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed hunting, automobiles, attending car shows and gun shows, making furniture and cooking.

Surviving are his life partner, Sue Schultz; five children: Alyssa (David) Riffey, Renee Ingrao (Ryan Conner), Christopher Ingrao, Thomas Ingrao, Andrew Schultz; seven grandchildren: Izabella Schultz, Charlie Riffey, Kamron Wolfe, Alexia Wolfe, Gavin Wolfe, Arleigh Wolfe, Jaxton Conner; his mother, Rebecca J. Ingrao; his brother, Randall (Mary-Ann Eva) Ingrao; his sister Candace (John) Fafinski of Falconer; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Angelo C. Ingrao; and brother, Angelo “Punky” Ingrao.

The family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. Sunday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. The Rev. Doug Penhollow of Jamestown Community Chapel will officiate.
