Susan Daugherty
Susan Daugherty, 75, of Lakewood, N.Y., passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, in the Montgomery County Hospice Casey House, Rockville, Md., following a brief illness.
A lifelong area resident, she was born Aug. 11, 1944, in Jamestown, N.Y., a daughter of the late Raymond M. and Catherine Coleman Fellows.
She was a graduate of the former Bemus Point High School and Jamestown Business College.
She was employed by First National Bank and retired from Chautauqua County government where she worked in the health department, highway department and the South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer District.
Surviving is a daughter, Carol (Jim) Keenan of North Potomac, Md.; two grandchildren: James Keenan and Catherine “Cate” Keenan both of Maryland; her beloved cousin, Richard; her sister, Carolyn; and her brother, John.
The funeral will be held at 11 am Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Hamilton, pastor of the Stockton Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Friday in the funeral home.
