Randall A. Shampoe, AKA “Shamp” June 25, 1949 to Oct. 9, 2019

Randall accomplished a lot in life. He was proud to have brought cable TV to the Clymer area. He broadcast and did commentary for basketball, football and even tried volleyball and bowling. Between him and his sidekicks, they made games personal, interesting and exciting. He had a pizza shop named after him and brought pizza, wings and movie rentals to town. He organized Cast & Company into a non-profit organization. He sang in the Good News Quartet for 28 years. They traveled the area for years, providing music and many memories. He was a fierce softball pitcher in his younger years. He was a summer league basketball coach and his team won the championship. He was also a die-hard fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns. He was a member of the Abbe Reformed Church in Clymer. Randy always had a quip to make you laugh and he and his laughter will be missed by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Sonya; sons: Randy Jr. (Carrie) and Nicholas (Jen Raines); grandchildren: Bailey, Sydney, Michael and Trent; his rescue dogs: Charlie and Willow and the extended Beckerink family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Carol (Wallace); and brothers: Larry, Greg and Brian.

Calls may be made Saturday from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m., at the Abbe Reformed Church , 595 Clymer-Sherman Road, Clymer, N.Y. The funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m., at the church, Interment will be at Cutting Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Randy’s memory may be made to the Anna Shelter or a charity of your choice.
