Judy A. (Northrop) Cash

Judy was born Sept. 26, 1936, in Westfield, N.Y., the daughter of the late James A. and Mary Lou (Quigley) Northrop, Sr.

Judy was a faithful member of St. Dominic’s Roman Catholic Parish and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.

She had been employed by Welch foods, the former Towne and Country Store, the former Westfield Department Store and the former Sincerely Yours Dress Shop.

Judy enjoyed playing cards and was a regular member of several bridge clubs. She was a dedicated homemaker who was an amazing baker and loved to cook for her family. Above all else, Judy was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and loyal friend.

Survivors include her son, Charles J. Cash of Mount Kisco, N.Y.; and her daughter, Pamela Mistretta of Jamestown, N.Y. Judy was the very proud grandmother of Angela Stanley, Jamie Stanley, Charles Cash and Michael Cash. She is further survived by her sister, Jane Parker of Westfield; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charles P. Cash, whom she married Nov. 11, 1955, and who sadly passed away on June 19, 2002; as well as by her son, Jeffrey M. Cash; her granddaughter, Sherisse N. Stanley; and by her brothers: Jerry, John and James Northrop; and her sister, Mary Grace Northrop

There will be no visitation. All services were private with burial in St. James Cemetery.
