Stacey A. Grimes
Stacey A. Grimes, 46, of Bemus Point, passed away unexpectedly Thursday (Sept. 26, 2019) in the town of Stockton, the result of an automobile accident.
She was born Sept. 28, 1972, in Baumholder, Germany, the daughter of Peter and Susan Landis Casper.
Stacey was a 1990 graduate of Maple Grove High School and D’Youville College with a master’s degree as nurse practitioner.
She was employed by Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing, Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Erie and was currently employed at Company Health Medicine PLLC in Tonawanda, N.Y., as a nurse practitioner.
Stacey was a member of Sigma Theta Tou Sorority of D’Youville College. She enjoyed fishing, swimming, Harley Davidson Motorcycle’s, going for rides, attending fairs and animals.
She is survived by her father, Peter Casper of Bemus Point; her fiance, Mallissa Nuse of Ashville; three step-daughters: Michelle Thournbury, Heidi Hall and Beth Grimes; four grandchildren; her uncles: Robert and Stanley Casper of New Kensington, Pa.; and her former husband, Mike (Karen) Grimes of Bemus Point.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Landis Casper; and her maternal grandparents, Roy and Ruth Landis.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
