Ralph Stoia

Ralph was preceded in death by parents, Soloman (Sam) and Sofia Stoia; brother, Nick (Helen) Stoia; and son, Marc (Melanie) Stoia.

Ralph was a loving husband to Loretta Stoia; loving father to Rita (Jeff) Eagle, aMichael (Gale) Stoia and stepson, Scott Anderson; loving grandfather to Joe Gramc (Laura), Jackie Eagle, Bradley Johnson (Kristina) and Paige Johnson; and loving great-grand father to Adiken and Landon.

Ralph graduated Alliance High School in Alliance, Ohio, in June, 1946. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy July from 1946-48 attaining the rank of storekeeper third class and was Awarded a World War II Victory Medal.

Ralph was an avid runner and had participated in the Canton Ohio, New York and Boston Marathons. Throughout his running career he had accumulated over 60,000 miles. In the later years of his life, he enjoyed working at the Barcelona Harbor in Westfield, N,Y.

A memorial service to celebrate Ralph’s life is to be scheduled at a later date.
