Alan “Al” White

Alan “Al” White, 63, of W. 14th St., Jamestown, N.Y., passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at his residence surrounded by friends and family.

He was born Dec. 14, 1955, in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late George and Thelma Davis White.

Al graduated from Jamestown High School in 1974. He was an athlete, he ran track and set a record in the triple jump in 1974. He went on to Miami University in Ohio, where he ran track, long jump and high jump and was a Miami University Redskins. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business.

Al worked at the YMCA at Camp Onyahsa. He was a former member of the YMCA. He enjoyed traveling around the world. He was an avid Cleveland Brown’s fan.

Al is survived by his sister, Marcella Keith of Jamestown, N.Y.; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: George L. “Joe” White and Richard E. “Ricky” White; a sister: Donna A. White; and a nephew: Quentin T. White.

Al’s wishes were no services.
