Karee J. “Ree” Rizzo-Walker

Karee J. “Ree” Rizzo-Walker, 23, passed away unexpectedly at UPMC Hamot, Erie, Pa., on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019.

He was born May 5, 1996, the son of Kareem ”Karrie” Walker and Rachel Rizzo.

He was a graduate of Jamestown High School and attended SUNY Broome in Binghamton, N.Y.

Karee had a passion for soccer and excelled at the sport at Jamestown High School and SUNY Broome. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing and had a love of fashion. His greatest love came from being with his family and friends.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Taylor (Calvin) Walker- Kinsey, Kareem (Morgan Gardner) Walker Jr., Kyla Walker, Kameron (Jakira Maisonet) Rizzo-Walker, and Kaprice and Kevion Walker; his grandmothers: Sallie Walker and Kim Rizzo; aunts and uncles: Nicole Vaughn, Amber Gustafson and Santo Rizzo; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Karee is preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon A. Rizzo; his grandfather, Santo Rizzo; and great-grandparents: Samuel and Corrine Walker.

Karee will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He was always known as a loving and giving person. This loving and giving continues after death with the donations of his organs that will touch the lives of those in need.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. LeRoy Walker, his uncle, the Rev. Maria Jones and the Rev. Reggie Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
