Barbara Giordon Senske
Barbara Giordon Senske, Stillwater Road, Sugar Grove, 65, died July 23, 2019, at home surrounded by her family after a three month illness.
She was born in Jamestown, N.Y., on Sept. 15, 1953, the daughter of the late Richard and Patricia Giordon. She was a graduate of Youngsville High School in 1971.
Her employment history started with the former New Process Company after high school and also included Grossman’s Lumber, Tractor Supply, Weber-Knapp, Ribs and Bones, and Kwik-Fill from which she retired in May 2019.
Barb enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Barb enjoyed having whiskey with her mother. She also was the caregiver of her parents with her mother making her home with Barb for her last six years. She was life long communicant of Our Lady of the Snows Roman Catholic Church, Panama, N.Y.
She is survived by her daughter Nicole (Ryan) Betts of Warren, Pa.; her son, Michael (Jessika) Senske, of Middleport, N.Y. She has seven grandchildren: Anthony Reynolds of Warren, Liam, Phinn, Lincoln and Ryan Betts of Warren and Reece and Summer Senske of Middleport, N.Y. Barb is also survived by her siblings: Kathleen (Ronald) Irwin, Richard Giordon, and Andrew (Betty) Giordon all of Sugar Grove, and Peter (Donna) Giordon and Daniel (Sarah) Giordon both of Jamestown, N.Y. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Barb was predeceased by her parents, Richard on April 25, 2009 and Patricia on July 23, 2017; and by her brother, Thomas on July 28, 2002.
The family will receive friends on July 25, 2019, at the McKinney Funeral Home, Sugar Grove from 5-8 p.m. where a Christian Wake Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Snows Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019. Father Piotr Zyczynski will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in the family plot at the Lottsville Cemetery, Lottsville, Pa.
