Beverly Gribble

Beverly Gribble (Aug. 7, 1965-June 4, 2019) of Findley Lake, N.Y.

“I may not be here for a long time, but I’m here for a good time.”

Our loving wife, mother, and Gigi decided she finally needed some rest.

While growing up in Corry, Pa. with her father, mother, and two brothers, she was instilled with great values. She had wonderful friends, and a rebellious spirit that led her out a window, down a chimney, and into the world. Carrying these values, friends, and a great determination for a life well-lived, she met a man in Findley Lake. Their love produced three girls, born to be just like them in spirit.

From that point on, many new adventures occurred, opportunities happened, and loads of friends were gained. There was never a moment missed, such as kayaking down the mighty west branch of French Creek, sledding down the triple diamond, “stealing” her only grandchild for an entire weekend, or simply laughing with her family as she was getting “hooked-up” in her chemo chair because she knew that laughter made everything a little easier. Her strength, courage, determination, fighting spirit, and love helped her hold on far longer than thought. Even in those dark days, her light shone brightly. She said goodbye, smiling, surrounded by love, laughter, and her family. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her, and those who loved her.
