Connie Lee Swartz Hitchcock

Connie Lee Swartz Hitchcock, 76, of Sinclairville passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Buffalo General Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Paul Edward Hitchcock Sr.; a son, Paul Edward Hitchcock Jr.; daughters: Alice Caroline (Kevin) Carlson of Kimbalstand, Susan Elaine (Chris) Roll of Sinclairville, Diana Pauline Merzweiler (Brian Park) of Sinclairville and Vicki Lynn (Michael) Horan of Sinclairville; 10 wonderful grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings: Mildred Larson of Grove City, Pa., Kenneth (Cathy) Swartz of Seneca, Pa., Richard Swartz of Franklin, Pa., James (Gay) Swartz of Franklin, Pa., and Norma (Dennis) Fry of Franklin, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosie Alice Ritz Swartz; her father, Earl Phillip Swartz; and a grandson, Paul Edward Hitchcock III.

Connie was a loving wife and mother. She loved all her children, crocheting, sewing and could figure out most any craft.

Connie worked as a child care worker at the YMCA in Jamestown and also taught Cub Scouts and 4H classes.

She will be missed and never forgotten.

Relatives and friends may visit Park United Methodist Church, 25 Maple Ave., Cassadaga, N.Y., on Monday, May 20, from 10-11 a.m., where a funeral service will immediately follow. Luncheon will follow at the church.

Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens Cranberry, Pa
