Joanna Elizabeth Traynor Winter, 100, originally of Bemus Point and Jamestown, N.Y., died Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, at home in Frederick, Md., surrounded by family.

At 97 years young, Joanna embraced the adventure of moving out to Frederick, Md., to live with her granddaughter, Jessica Woodin (Lindboom) and husband, Paul, where she resided for over three years.

Joanna loved cuddling with the family pug dogs and beagle, watching wild birds out the window, completing word searches, crafting, listening to music, and watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and Fixer Upper. Joanna also enjoyed spending time with Barbara King, her “Granny Nanny” caretaker, who was her beloved companion during the work day.
