Donna C. Minor

A lifelong area resident, she was born June 21, 1935, in Jamestown, N.Y., a daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Mary F. Punk Van Natter.

She was a 1953 graduate of Jamestown High School and was baptized from the First Congregational Church.

Before her retirement she was a customer service representative for the Greenlee Insurance Agency in Jamestown. In earlier years, she had worked for the Jamestown Mutual Insurance Company, Unigard Insurance Company and several other insurance agencies in the Jamestown area.

Donna enjoyed taking part in the activities at the High Rise with the other residents and also loved volunteering for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and the Jamestown Meals-on-Wheels Program. She was also an avid reader and loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are a son; Randal A. (Debbie) Case of Pageland, S.C.; two grandchildren: Lisa (Jeff) Sobocinski and Jennifer (Paul Cain) Felt; four great grandchildren: Emma and Connor Sobocinski, Asia LaMancuso and Max Badgley; her sister and her caregiver, Kay Popovich of Erie, Pa.; a nephew, David Popovich of Erie, Pa.; a great-niece, Nicole (Joe) Miller of Jamestown, N.Y.; and a great-nephew, Michael Popovich of Erie, Pa.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jody K. Case; and a nephew, Mark Popovich.

The funeral will be held at noon Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Adam Rohler, pastor of the First Covenant Church will officiate. A private burial will take place be in Lake View Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to the time of the service at noon on Saturday in the funeral home.
