William Theodore “Ted” Forsberg

He was born in Jamestown, N.Y., on Aug. 10, 1942, to the late Herbert Oscar and Myna (Linamen) Forsberg. He married Cheryl Sue Trumbull on Sept. 11, 1982, and she survives.

Also surviving are two children: Tonda (Bob) Davis of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Tom (Beth) Schwind of Marysville, Ohio; six grandchildren: Joshua (Maria) Lambert and Maylah (Chris) Glaser, both of Tampa, Fla., Stephanie (Destiny) Lambert of Lima, Ohio, Michael (Amanda) Schwind of Wilmore, Ky., and Andrew Schwind and Wesley Schwind, both of Marysville, Ohio; two brothers: Richard (Kathleen) Forsberg and Herbert (Joyce) Forsberg; and two aunts: Helen Verlini and Willa Short.

Two sisters: Delores (Robert) Jackson and Kathryn (Stanley) Morse also preceded him in death.

Ted received his undergraduate degree from SUNY Binghampton, Harpur College and masters degrees from both SUNY and BGSU, all in Russian history. He taught at BGSU and also worked in sales for Flag Home Sales Inc.

Visitation will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the service will follow at 7:30 p.m. Pastor Ben Borsay will officiate.
