Charles T. “Chuck” Parker Sr.

He was born Feb. 10, 1943, in Jamestown, a son of the late Charles O. and Frances Danforth Parker. He received his GED in 1982.

Chuck held numerous jobs including Belin Security, Truck Lite, Crescent Tool, Proto Tool, Apple Auto Parts, crossing guard at Falconer School and most recently with Meals on Wheels, Jamestown, where he loved all of his co-workers, the workers at the sites and his home deliveries were special to him. A special thanks to Michelle, his pal.

He was the former Scout Master of Sinclairville Boy Scout Troop 188, enjoyed being on the CB radio during the 1970s using the “handle” White Knight, fishing, hunting, yard sales, casinos, playing scratch offs and making bon fires. Chuck was a great man, husband and father, with a wonderful sense of humor and made friends everywhere he went. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Husband of Evelyn Grover Parker and the late Carol L. Sherman Parker; father of Coleen (Brian) Horning of Little Valley and Charles T. Parker Jr. of Bemus Point; grandfather of Craig Carlson, Morgan Szaranowicz, Thomas and David (Danielle) Parker; great-grandfather of Mia Lyn Parker and Annalisah Green; brother of Jerome Parker; stepfather of Ron and Rodney (Jessica) Stanford, Shelley (Frank) Ambrose, Renee (Chris) Moulton, Raeann (James) Sanchez and Amanda (Kirk) Ayers; step-grandfather of 23; step great-grandfather of seven.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec, 15, at the Ashville Fire Hall, 5338 Stow Road, Ashville, NY 14710.
