Diane Newsome

She was born Nov. 2, 1930, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Roland and Betty Davis Nygren. She was a 1948 graduate of Bemus Point High School.

Diane was employed as a secretary for the United States Department of Defense and was a member of the U.S. Air Force Retired Officers Association.

She loved to read, knit and was a loving friend to all kinds of animals.

Wife of 23 years to the late Lt. Col. Larry O. Newsome Jr., U.S. Air Force, retired; sister of Eileen Peck of Elmira and the late Judy Livermore. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville, with two hours of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Bemus Point Cemetery.
