Norma E. Evans (Neckers)

Norma was born Nov. 26, 1922, in Corry, Pa.. to George and Cleo (Shippee) Neckers.

She worked along side her husband, Leonard on the family dairy farm in Clymer, for many years, where she and Leonard raised their family. Her husband Leonard passed away in 2001. Norma was a nature lover, she was an avid reader and a great cook. She also worked at Peek & Peak in the housekeeping department.

Norma is survived by two daughters: Cheryl L. (Clif) Darling of Clymer, N.Y. and Darlene K. Evans (Richard Bureau) of Branford, Conn.; two grandchildren: Keith (Susan) Yocum and Danielle (Duane) Williams; also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and cousins..

Besides her parents and husband, Norma is predeceased by two brothers: Edwin and Gordon (Louise) Neckers.

Calls may be made today from 6-8 p.m., at the Spitzer Funeral Home, 8728 E. Main St., Clymer, N.Y., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.

Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave.. Lakewood, NY 14750. Interment will be in the Clymer-Center Cemetery.
