Dr. William D. Bellavia

Dr. William D. Bellavia, 73, passed away at his home in Clermont, Fla., on Dec. 6, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving wife, Marilyn and sons.

William was born in Jamestown, N.Y., on June 10, 1944, the son of William and Lucy (DeJoe) Bellavia.

William was a graduate of Jamestown High School, Jamestown Community College and the Dental School at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He went on to practice dentistry in Medina, N.Y. During his career as a dentist he published seven original research papers, was awarded two patents, earned his master’s degree in the Academy of General Dentistry and was a member of the Academy of Neurological and Ortho- pedic Surgery.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucy Bellavia. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marilyn (Brunicini) Bellavia; four sons: Daniel, Rand, Timothy, David and families. Siblings: Jane Mihalko, Salvatore Bellavia, Sandra Spitale and families.

A memorial service will be held on July 15, at noon at Yates Baptist Church, 11365 East Yates Center Road, Lyndonville, N.Y.
