Raymond L. Bulger

Raymond L. Bulger, 80, of Cassadaga, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018.

Ray was born Aug. 18, 1937, in the town of Charlotte to the late Albert and Nyda Dieter Bulger.

He was a graduate and president of Cassadaga Valley Central School, class of 1955. Ray’s employment included Dunkirk Readi Mix as a mechanic for 20 years, Ferranti-Packard in Dunkirk as maintenance/ production supervisor for 15 years, King Machine in Sheridan as a supervisor and Fredonia’s St. George Construction in maintenance, where he retired in 2011. He was a member and past president of the Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association and enjoyed restoring farm tractors.

Husband of 60 years to Sally Schultz Bulger, who he married May 3, 1958; father of Allen (Cathy Tessier) Bulger of Oakley, Calif., and Jeffrey (Ginger) Bulger of Cassadaga; grandfather of Erin (Charles) Bulger-Hagglof of Antioch, Calif., Brandi Bulger-DeJesus of Dunkirk and Dr. Jeffrey Bulger, Jr. of Chicago, Ill.; great- grandfather of Jayden DeJesus; brother of Gary (Linda) Bulger of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and the late Wallace Bulger and Marie Martin. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation held from 4-7 p.m. Monday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Private burial in Cassadaga Cemetery.
