Karina M. Blakeslee, 40, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018, at Absolut Care in Westfield, N.Y.
She was born May 31, 1978, in Warren, Pa., a daughter to Stanley and Glenda (Lucas) Blakeslee of Jamestown, N.Y. Kari was a graduate of Youngsville High School. She worked for many years as a machine operator at Support Enterprises Inc. and most recently for a cleanup and restoration company called Servepro. Kari was a member of the Fluvanna Fire Department and past member of the Youngsville and Celeron Fire Departments. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting and bingo.
In addition to her parents, Kari is survived by her son, Dakota Peck of Jamestown, N.Y.; her fiance, Richard Baine of Pittsfield; her siblings: Kathryn, (Kris) Kibbey of Sugar Grove, Pa., and Kevin Blakeslee and his companion, Mandy Proper, of Warren, Pa.; her nieces and nephews: Megan, Devon, Christopher, Kamrie, Buddy, Alexis, Tyler and Ethan; and a great-nephew, Maddox.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Shelby Blakeslee; her maternal grandparents, Dave and Wilka Lucas; and her paternal grandparents, Walter Blakeslee and Martha Rosequist.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, June 19, from 2-4 p.m. and also 6-8 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St., Youngsville, Pa. A funeral service will be held there on Wednesday, June 20, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. William Blair, pastor of New Creation Assembly of God in Jamestown, N.Y. Burial will follow in Warren County Memorial Park.
