Dennis B. Conklin

He was born Aug. 15, 1938, the son of the late Ross and Geraldine Conklin. Dennis was married to Elizabeth Conklin, who passed away in 2006.

He is survived by his two sons: Dennis (Claudia) Conklin of Jackson, Miss., and Rollie Conklin of Healdsburg, Calif.; two sisters: Mary Ann (Ed) Padgett of Napoli and Carol (Don) Miller of Charlottesville, Va.

He was additionally preceded by a brother, Gerald Conklin in 1988.

To those who knew him, Dennis was not only the most unique individual they ever met, but he was also the one of the kindest and most charitable. Dennis practiced law and was a respected member of the San Francisco Bar for over 40 years. His reputation for honesty, hard work and integrity was acknowledged by friend and foe alike. Anyone who ever observed him work a courtroom could instantly see his love for the law and respect for the jury system. Dennis enjoyed a second career as a goat herder and is survived by three goats. He will be missed.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday (June 20, 2018) in the South Napoli Cemetery.
