Paul R. Cramer

Paul passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 23, 2017, in Victoria, Texas, from a very short bout with cancer. Paul was born May 28, 1939.

Paul grew up in Ashville, N.Y., the son of the late Richard T. and Dorothy M. Cramer from Hunt Road, Ashville, N.Y. He graduated from Panama High School in June 1957. While living in Ashville, he worked for Blackstone and Jamestown Burial Vault in Jamestown, N.Y.

Paul traveled the United States, working various jobs, truck driving and as a realtor in Los Angeles, Calif. In later years, Paul and his wife, Jackie, enjoyed hosting campgrounds and most recently worked as gate guards in the oil wells in Texas.

Paul is survived by his wife, Jackie; sister, Phyllis Sorensen, Lakewood, N.Y.; son, Richard P. Cramer and wife, Debbie of Fredonia, N.Y.; daughters, Judy Cramer (Carol) of Tucson, Ariz., Jill Raynor (Tim) of Ashville, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Greg Cramer (Shannon), Doug Cramer, Fredonia, N.Y., Kimberly Raynor and Alyson Maher (Mathew) Virginia; and three great-grandchildren, Cassandra and Alexander Cramer, Fredonia, N.Y., and Nora Maher of Virginia; and uncle, Robert R. Miller, Ashville, N.Y.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
