Joanne was born January 3, 1937, in Jamestown, N.Y., to Clara and Stanley Berg. She died Sept. 27, 2017, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Fla., surrounded by her family after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
She was the sister of the late Monsignor S. Theodore Berg of Buffalo, N.Y.
Joanne married Kenneth Devol in 1960 and remained his loving wife for over 57 years. She was also the proud mother and grandmother of three children: David, Diane and Daniel; and four grandchildren: Ian, Sarah, Morgan and Julia. She will live in our hearts always.
