Karen L. Kahm

Born on Sept. 5, 1942, in Salamanca, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late James and Delores Ambuske Hill. She was married to Mr. Harold “Pooch” Kahm in Little Valley, N.Y., on May 12, 1962, who survives.

Mrs. Kahm had been employed as a pharmacy tech at Park Pharmacy for more than 10 years prior to her retirement.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed antiquing, craft shows, traveling and looked forward to her yearly trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Debbie Kahm; and three sons: Jay (Lori) Kahm, Jeff Kahm, Rian (Tia Fitzgerald) Kahm; eight grandchildren: Stephanie (Dustin Hebner) Ernst, Jalyssa (Mike) Carter, Daniel Ernst, Andrew, Ryleigh, Jacob, Arik, Nikoli Kahm; and four great-grandchildren: Gaje and Kaysin Carter, and Madysen and Ryen Hebner; three sisters: Kathy (Harold) Spengler, Marcia Wass and Lorre (Bob) Vassar; and six brothers: Steve (Dee) Hill, Jack (Judy) Hill, Kevin (Marcia) Hill, Ron (Malesia) Hill, Dennis Hill, Mark (Marcia) Hill; a sister-in-law, Mary Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers: Michael Hill, and Daniel Hill, and an infant; and a brother-in-law, Ray Wass.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family at a time to be announced. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the O’Rourke and O’Rourke Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca, N.Y.
