Linda M. Schauman

Linda M. Schauman, 60, of Lexington, Mass., formerly of Jamestown, passed away on May 29, 2017, at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington, Mass.

Born on May 16, 1957, to Eugene and Lois ( Samuelson) Schauman, Linda graduated from Maple Grove Jr. Sr. High School in 1975. She continued on to Jamestown Community College and then to Brockport State College, where she graduated with a degree in psychology.

Linda lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed traveling, music and her dogs. Dealing with macular degeneration her whole life never stopped her from working. She worked at many places in her life such as Boston University, Expo Design Center, Disney World, the World’s Fair in Knoxville, Tenn., and was even a personal assistant to Cher for a time.

Linda’s pets were her babies: Brandy, Boomer, K.C. and her beloved Nikki were her fur family. Also near and dear to her heart was her cottage and the beaches in Cape Cod where she spent many happy summers with friends and family.

She is survived by her parents; her brothers: Dave (Jan) Schauman and Gary (Debby) Schauman; as well as her nephews: Corey, Christopher, Dustin, Josh, Josiah, Simeon and Jordan; and her nieces: Autumn and Anna; along with many cousins.

She was predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents; her niece, Hope Schauman; and her partner of over 30 years, Lisa Milso.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 12, at Sunset Hill Cemetery Chapel.
