Deloris Host Anderson, 82, of Lottsville, Pa., passed away Monday, May 1, 2017, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Residence, Warren.
Born in Sergeant, Pa., on May 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Serrill F. and Helen (Nicklas) Host. Deloris served in the U.S. Marines and was retired from National Forge Company in Irvine, Pa., where she worked in the office.
Surviving is her son, Wayne (Michelle) L. Anderson of Ashville, N.Y.; her daughter, Linda (Richard) Wilson of Wexford, Pa.; four sisters: Marion Mack of Corry, Pa., Bonita Drayer of Middleburg, Fla., Orpha (Glenn) Sanden of Holtville, Calif. and Alice Dalrymple of Bear Lake, Pa.; one brother, Serrill Host Jr. of Sumpter, S.C.; five grandchildren: Cathy (Chris) Taylor, Joshua Anderson, Brandon Wilson, David Wilson and Sara Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Sugar Grove Branch of McKinney Funeral Homes, 117 Main Street, Sugar Grove, Pa., where a funeral and committal service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017.
Burial will be private and will be in Lottsville Cemetery.
The family suggests those wishing to place a memorial may do so to the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
