William Cronin
William Cronin, 71, of Jamestown, died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 31, 2017) at his residence.
He was born in Jamestown on Sept. 4, 1945, the son of the late William and Ida LaValle Cronin.
He was employed in construction and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union.
He was a loving father and grandfather. He was an avid animal lover and besides caring for his two cats, he fed stray cats every day. He had many close friends, including Angelo Pollino, Barb and Fran Chiapetta. He thought of them as siblings. He will be greatly missed.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Gina Marie Cronin of Buffalo; and a grandson, Thomas Michael Gustafson II of Fredonia.
A Memorial Service will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at a time and date to be announced.
The Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation services is in charge of arrangements.
