Beuna “Bonnie” L. Winchell
, 87, of 150 Prather Ave. Jamestown, N.Y., passed away Tuesday Dec. 27, 2016, with her family by her side, at Heritage Park, Jamestown, N.Y.
She was born Sept. 29, 1929, in the Town of Sherman the daughter of the late George and Ellen Near Dewey.
She was a graduate of Clymer Central School Class of 1946. Beuna retired from the Chautauqua County Clerks office in 1985. After retirement she enjoyed gardening, foster grand parenting, and was also member of United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her children, Pat (Sandy) Pettinato, Mark (Kathi) Pettinato, Mitchell Pettinato, Dana Pettinato, Julie (Bill) Ragsdale; and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and by one sister Brenda (Ralph) Meerdink.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Pettinato, and an infant son Paul Pettinato.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at the Spitzer Funeral Home, 135 Miller St., Sherman, N.Y., with Chaplain Gerald Haglund, officiating. Burial will be in Sherman Cemetery.
Friends will be received for two hours prior to the service from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.
