Raymond L. “Twitter-pated” Jackson

Raymond L. “Twitter- pated” Jackson, 60, of 1655 Riverside Road, Jamestown, went to be with the Lord following complications after heart surgery on Sunday (Oct. 30, 2016) at UPMC Hamot, in Erie.
He was born Jan. 29, 1956, in Jamestown, the son of Donald and Fern Hall Jackson.
Before retiring, he had been employed at Jamestown Metal and was pastor of Calvary Baptist Church.
He had recently started worshiping at Wiltsie Community Church.
Ray lived for serving the Lord and had a big heart for ministering to others with love and compassion.
He enjoyed singing, classic cars and was an avid Bills fan. He spent much time studying and reading the Bible which he had a passion for.
Besides his father of Jamestown, Ray is survived by a sister, Wendy (Doug) Woodard of Jamestown.
Ray celebrated life and made his home with his fiance, Cheryl Abbey of Jamestown, who he adored and loved spending time with. Together their favorite places were Niagara Falls, The Lakewood Rod & Gun and Bemus Point.
He is also survived by his stepson and stepdaughter: Matt and Ashley Abbey of Frewsburg; and two children: Stacey Billquist and Stephanie Small.
He was predeceased by his mother; and two brother: Todd J. and Randy S. Jackson.
No visitation or services will be observed.
The Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
