Darold W. Frantz
SUMMERFIELD, Fla. – Darold W. Frantz, 88, of Summerfield, Fla., formerly of Jamestown and Frewsburg, died, Wednesday, (Oct. 5, 2016) at his home in Florida.
He was born Feb. 29, 1928, in Brockway, Pa., the son of Lewis and Lucille Greene Frantz.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War.
Before retiring in 1989 he had been employed as a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways.
Darold is survived by a son: Douglas and his wife, Theresa Frantz of Summerfield, Fla.; a granddaughter: Brooke Egloff of McKean, Pa.; and four grandchildren: Noah, Collin, Maya and Aidan Egloff.
He was predeceased by his wife, Hazel Frantz; and a brother, Robert Frantz.
The funeral will be held at noon, Wednesday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.
The Rev. Adam Rohler, pastor of First Covenant Church, Jamestown, will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
The family will receive friends two hours prior the service at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
