Rebecca Sue Brake
Rebecca Sue Brake, Meadville, Pa., passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, May 5. 2015. Becky was born June 22, 1954, in Kennedy, N.Y., daughter of the late James and Suzanne Brake.
Becky attended schools in Kennedy and Falconer, N.Y., and lived and worked in this area most of her life. Becky loved her animals and sewing. She was very proud of her kids, grandkids and their accomplishments. She was a caring person with a zest for life, who wanted to make everyone around her happy. Becky was a very fashionable lady and loved sharing her choice of clothes with her granddaughters.
She is survived by three children: Michelle (Rick) Brown, Jeremy (Tammy) Haley and Nathan (Christine Dowdy) Haley; two stepchildren: Sheila (Scott) Turner and Jeffery (Cindy) Haley.
She is survived by 10 grandchildren: Kayla, Kelcie, Kienna, Tessa Brown, Nathan Haley Jr., Allecia Verga, Jacob Turner, Chris, Logan and Brittany Haley, and also by many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by a sister, Pamela (Carter) Frazier, Bountiful, Utah; brothers: Pat (Karen) Brake, Raymore, Mo., Michael Brake, Sean Brake and Brian Brake, Jamestown, N.Y., and by sister-in-law, Leanna Brake, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Brake, Feb. 12, 1991. Visitation will not be observed.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
